On Saturday, February 10th we are hosting an "Aphrodisiac Chocolate & Wine workshop" led by our pastry chef, Jennifer Gorman, and our sommelier, Erik Mulberry. Guests will learn how to make a variety of chocolate desserts such as hand-rolled truffles, tuxedo strawberries, chocolate covered drunken cherries, chocolate mousse cups and 3D chocolate decorative pieces for dessert toppings. Guest will also taste two wines with chocolate pairings while learning about the properties of wine and chocolate that act as aphrodisiacs. Guests will also learn about how both chocolate and wine have been celebrated throughout history. Guests will take home a small fondue set so that the techniques that are used in class can be replicated at home as well as all of the treats that are made in class. The hotel is also offering a Valentine's Day themed overnight package. Valentine's Day falls on a Wednesday this year.
