Discovery World is a science and technology center that focuses on innovation and technology, as well as Great Lakes education and conservation. It contains interactive exhibits, the Reiman Aquarium, two theaters, and is home to Wisconsin's official flagship, the Denis Sullivan, a fully functional sailing vessel modeled after a 19th-century Great Lakes schooner. Many of the exhibits have to do with Milwaukee or the Great Lakes.

Mitchell Park Domes 524 S Layton Blvd, Milwaukee http://county.milwaukee.gov/MitchellParkConserva10116.htm In the dessert dome see one of the world’s finest collection of cacti, succulents, shrubs and air-land bulbs. In the tropical dome there is a rich diversity of plants from the rainforests of five continents. This dome also features showy fruits, flowers, fruits, nuts, spices and a multitude of orchids and bromeliads, a rushing waterfall and live birds. In the Floral Show Dome guest will find a gorgeous seasonal garden of color that is certain to inspire even novice gardeners.

Adventure Rock 2220 N Commerce St, Milwaukee https://adventurerock.com Adventurous families love this place! Check out the 27,000 square feet of climbing space with 210 routes extending 42 feet from the floor to the ceiling. The Clip’N Go program uses auto-belay systems that allows participants to clip into station and begin climbing. It’s super fun and a great way to burn some energy. Recommended for ages 5 and up.

There’s also the Moebus that is a gigantic bouncing space with a slide, pop-ups and portholes; the Adrenaline Zone, which features two huge 18 foot super slides, mini pop-ups and gravity simulator; a rock climbing wall; and vintage video games, pinball and air hockey.

One of the five largest children’s theaters in the nation, First Stage Children's Theater is a professional American children's theater that performs six mainstage plays and a touring production each year. Shows feature children actors and are mesmerizing for children of all ages.
